The Tenth Tennessee determines its schedule during our annual meeting in February. On average, the Tenth will be at between eight and twelve events per year ranging from May until October. Some years the Tenth will travel to a “national” event held at actual battle sites around the different theaters of operation (mostly in the southeastern states).
The Tenth always welcomes anyone interested in the hobby or even the welcomed discussion on Civil War history. Feel free to come and see us at any of these events around the Midwest. To help support local historical societies, there may be an entrance fee.
Carpentersville Civil War Reenactment units will be camping out at the park all weekend, and special events will run throughout the day. Watch as troops march down Spring Street in a parade leading to the park, enjoy living history demonstrations, and much much more. The highlight of each afternoon will be a battle between Union and Confederate soldiers. Map to event.
